We had a successful session on the 21st of April. The team behind Wonder Kids, have been busy collecting feedback from the parents of our Wonder Kids’ campers. We are delighted to report that all our Wonder Kids thoroughly enjoyed all of the activities that we had planned for them; from colouring to listening to stories, from creating a fountain powered by science to dancing like the wind! What did we do on the 21st that led to such buzzing enthusiasm? We:
On the 21st, each child received a folder with activity sheets. We would like to request our Wonder Kids to please bring this folder along to every session. This is to ensure so that we can add to their portfolio during the course of each Camp and also check up on homework and ‘at-home’ projects given out during a previous session. For our Camp on the 12th of our May, we did following activities. 1. Art: Secondary Colours and Colour Mixing (Part 1). 2. Science: We had some demonstrations on electrostatics which is the branch of physics of static charges developing on different materials in particular conditions. 3. Storytelling: We continued our Spring/Summer theme and learnt about Phenology with ‘Florette’ and had the opportunity to take home a very special ‘At-Home’ project. 4. Dance: We did some innovative exercises in rhythm and have fun simultaneously, with some Spanish songs and music which make kids want to dance and learn few steps.
